to in and from New York City

On Saturday, June 18, me and my friends, Dave TonyS and TonyD traveled to New York City for the day. We started out at 730 from MD... got to NYC about 1045... set out to find Chumley's. On our way we passed thru a market on Bleeker St, we saw a lot of different things for sale, from massages to slippers... and of course 3 for $10 t-shirts... got to Chumley's... but they weren't open yet. So we set out to get some lunch... ate at a place called the Garage ( www.garagerest.com)... pretty cool... live Jazz band... and a nice meal... great french toast and chicken quesdillas. After lunch (or should I say brunch)... we set out to see CBGB's... back down Bleeker... that coffee tasted like weeds, so the honey made it bearable... anyways found CB's ... got inside and sang a song... had a beer and examined some pretty cool (moo mooo) art. Set out for the Brooklyn Bridge, Me and TonyS really had to go... thank you starbucks... walked to Brooklyn over the bridge.. on the way, had perfect view of uptown and downtown Manhattan... took a lot of pics on da bridge, I think I saw Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years... I could be wrong. After that we were thirsty... so we set out for McSorley's... the oldest pub in New York... nice place... the Yankee game was on... but it was packed. Left there and landed at (fill in the blank).. I cant remember... had a nice time there... more beer... and met a Mets fan and Indian fan... took some pics... Marilyn was there. It was getting a tad late... by now.. so we had to get close (if not find out) to where we had to catch the bus... made our way thru another market... ummm those sausages smelled goood... pressed on... walked thru the city for a while... before deciding to ride the subway... got within a block of where the bus would be... decided the bus ride would be too boring without something to 'help us along', so we stopped for a 12 pack of 18oz beers... a kitkat,large pizza umm umm good... (oh yeah and a salad)... wolfed them all down... drank our beer... talked about how good men are at avoiding the heavy diapers... "you need me... I'm here for you babe" ... got home... went to TonyDs in Fallston... for some wine... and tried out Tony's new ...... patio. It was a fine day.
